Theatre Tools to Teach Diverse Classic Texts
Our mission is to reimagine the classics, creating a legacy of storytelling with gender equity at its core. Hedgepig provides access to classical literature by women and non-binary writers to secondary school students by facilitating professional developments for high school and middle school educators.

Theatre Tools Workshops…
are 3 hours long
introduce the dramaturgical background to Expand the Canon work
include activities that incorporate different learning modalities including aural, kinesthetic, etc. for students to build a relationship with the text
allow access to learning guides to accompany public domain ETC works, which participants can use to build classroom lessons
